Record No. 02C Smooth Plane
as illustrated in Catalogue No. 15, February 1938
NOTE: The 02C Smooth Plane was exactly the same as the 02 except that the sole was corrugated. The box label also had “C” after the model number. Because of the work needed to produce the corrugated base, the plane was sold at a higher price than the 02.
This plane features end and side adjustment of the cutter. Handles and knobs are of selected rosewood.
Lever caps and small screws are nickel plated. The Record No. 02C Smooth Plane was discontinued in 1943 but remained in catalogues until 1952.
