Record No. 2506 Side Rabbet Plane

Used for side rabbeting and cleaning grooves in mouldings etc. The nose can be removed for working close up into corners. The No. 2506 was based on an Edward Preston plane of the same product number when Record acquired the manufacturing rights from John Rabone & Sons.
First introduced in Catalogue No. 14, published in November 1935.
