Record No. 05C Jack Plane

Record No 05C Jack Plane
Record No. 05C Jack Plane
as illustrated in Catalogue No. 15, February 1938

NOTE: The 05C Jack Plane was exactly the same as the 05 except that the sole was corrugated. The box label also had “C” after the model number. Because of the work needed to produce the corrugated base, the plane was sold at a higher price than the 05.

This plane features end and side adjustment of the cutter. Handles and knobs are of selected rosewood (post-war models are made of beech.)

Lever caps and small screws were nickel plated on early models. All corrugated models were discontinued by 1993.

First introduced in Catalogue No. 10, published in January 1931.
