Record No. 040 Plough Plane

This plane is suitable for grooving for plywood panels etc. It is fitted with adjustable depth gauge and single arm fence, and will cut grooves 1/2″ deep up to 3″ from the edge of a board.
Three plough cutters are supplied with each plane – 1/8″, 3/16″ and 1/4″.
Additional cutters are available for grooving plywood panels, etc. Cutters of millimetre width were also available in 4mm, 6mm, 9mm & 12mm.
First introduced in Catalogue No. 14, published in November 1935.
