Record No. 0230 Block Plane

The Record No. 0120 block plane is fitted with a knuckle-joint lever cap which is made of steel and is nickel-plated. It has a screw adjustment on the cutter for regulating the depth of cut. The cutter is tightened in position by a nickel-plated knurled wheel and screw.
The base and sides are ground and polished, and there is a recess on each side for thumb and finger grip.
First introduced in Catalogue No. 11, published in September 1932.
