Record No. 020 Circular Plane

The No. 020 circular plane was fitted with a flexible spring steel face (sole) for planing concave or convex surfaces. It featured end and side adjustment of cutter.
The steel face of the No. 020 plane was dovetailed to the body at the centre and anchored at each end to the body. It was also screw adjusted from the centre and the frame provided handles at both ends.
Also referred to as the Record 020 Compass Plane.
First introduced in Catalogue No. 11, published in September 1932.
