Record No. 019 Block Plane
as illustrated in Catalogue No. 15, February 1938
This block plane was fitted with a knuckle joint style lever cap which was made of steel and nickel plated. There was a screw adjustment on the cutter for regulating the depth of cut, and sidewise adjustment is by lever.
The base and sides were ground and polished, and there is a recess on each side for thumb and finger grip.
The mouth is adjustable for fine or coarse work.
First introduced in a small publicity catalogue issued between the January 1934 Price List and Catalogue No. 14 of November 1935.
