Record No. 722 Router Plane

Record No. 722 Router Plane
as illustrated in Catalogue No. 15, February 1938
This plane was primarily used to cut grooves and recesses where a larger router plane would prove to be too cumbersome and unwieldy. A great little plane for very detailed work, featuring a quick and effective locking system for the cutter.
Originally a pattern designed and manufactured by Edward Preston & Sons and then introduced into the Record plane lineup. See "Edward Preston & Sons planes which made it into the Record lineup" for more information.
First introduced in Catalogue No. 14, published in November 1935.
