Record No. 03C Smooth Plane

NOTE: The 03C Smooth Plane was exactly the same as the 03 except that the sole was corrugated. The box label also had "C" after the model number. Because of the work needed to produce the corrugated base, the plane was sold at a higher price than the 03.
This plane features end and side adjustment of the cutter. Handles and knobs are of selected rosewood (post-war models are made of beech.)
Lever caps and small screws were nickel plated on early models. All corrugated models were discontinued by 1993.
First introduced in Catalogue No. 10, published in January 1931.
