Record No. 05 SS Jack Plane

NOTE: The 05 SS Jack Plane was exactly the same as the 05 except that it had the letters “SS” cast into the lever cap above the screw hole. The box label also had “SS” after the model number. The plane was sold at the same price as the 05.
This plane features end and side adjustment of the cutter. Handles and knobs are of selected rosewood (post-war models are made of beech.)
Lever caps and small screws were nickel plated on early models. All SS (Stay set) models were discontinued in 1965.
