Record No. 010 Carriage Maker’s Rabbet Plane
as illustrated in Catalogue No. 15, February 1938
This plane had a malleable iron body and was said to be “practically unbreakable”. It was designed and recommended for carriage and wagon building and similar heavy work. End and side adjustment of cutters. Handles and knobs were made of selected rosewood on pre WW2 models, and lever caps and small screws were nickel plated.
First introduced in Catalogue No. 11, published in September 1932.
